Progress

Since January 2008, we have been working with a variety of stakeholders including Government departments, corporations, philanthropic foundations, sponsors and local community groups to find a way to deploy the XO laptop to up to 400,000 children in remote Australia.

To date, we have deployed over 1000 XO laptops to 16 remote communities.

We are hoping to expand this number to 5,000 XO laptops by June 2010, and eventually to as many as are required to reach every remote child.
