Support For One Laptop Per Child Australia

The Prime Minister and the Assistant Treasurer, Senator Nick Sherry, have today announced tax deductible donation status for One Laptop per Child Australia Ltd.

One Laptop per Child Australia was founded in 2008 and aims to improve the lives of Indigenous children living in disadvantaged communities in rural and remote Australia.

On Thursday, May 27, OLPC Australia celebrated its 1st anniversary at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney.

The night was a retrospect on what the charity has achieved in the past 12 months and an opportunity to thank the many individuals and organisations that have supported OLPC Australia thus far.
